Jacob Ashby is a licensed Illinois attorney dedicated to delivering strategic and results-driven legal solutions. He earned his undergraduate degree in political science from Arizona State University, where he became a brother of Sigma Alpha Mu and an active student leader at Chabad. He later earned his Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law, graduating with a certificate in criminal law.
During law school, Jacob sharpened his skills in legal analysis, advocacy, and research while serving in multiple leadership roles. He was a senator in the Student Bar Association and an active leader in Phi Alpha Delta and Decalogue, demonstrating his commitment to justice and community engagement.
Jacob currently works with Ashby Law Offices LLC, where he handles probate and estate matters, including estate administration and debt resolution. He conducts legal research, prepares filings, and assists in managing active cases to ensure efficient and compliant outcomes. Earlier in his role, he supported probate of unadministered estates, managed client databases, and contributed to the firm’s marketing initiatives to enhance client outreach.
Beyond his legal work, Jacob has cultivated a diverse background in security, management, and hospitality. His leadership experience in security and operations strengthened his expertise in risk assessment, conflict resolution, and organizational management—skills that translate seamlessly into his legal practice.
